Well, I don't suppose this is any worse than the (formerly infamous) UNDEAD Article 19, which was used to keep the Articles secret (even though they were required to be public). Worth testing outside of a criminal case, I'll grant you. This was never tested, either: 19: RETROACTIVE SELF-REPLICATION This Article takes precedence over all other Articles. If any Agency outside These Articles requests the publication/provision of all/part of These Articles to a body outside UNDEAD Members in a way that an UNDEAD Member or an UNDEAD Group is forced to comply, the following shall be deemed to have occurred. There shall be no instant in time between the occurrence of each of these items. (1) A Set of Articles of Agreement shall deemed to have been created, with the title "The UNDEAD [Name]", where [Name] is replaced with the Title of These Articles minus its first "The". If something already exists with that title, an Arbitrary string of digits is appended to the title. (2) The Text of These New Articles shall be the same as the text of These Articles, and the moment of creation of These New Articles shall be Deemed to Be the moment of creation of the First UNDEAD Group. (3) All UNDEAD Members will be Deemed to have Agreed to abide by These New Articles from the moment of creation of These New Articles. (4) The text of These Articles shall be entirely replaced with the following three Articles, with [Subname] being replaced with the Title of These New Articles. This replacement shall be deemed to have occurred at the moment of creation of the first UNDEAD Group. This Replacement takes precedence over all other Articles for changing These Articles, with the exception of the "Not Anger Agora" Clause, below. ---------------------- ARTICLE 01. All for One, and One for All! We declare ourselves Free Beings, Pirates all, and Bound in Gentlemanlike Agreement for the Betterment of Agora and Ourselves. We agree that our agreement shall consist of these Articles, numbered by positive integers, and that we shall abide by all Articles in Effect. Our Agreement to abide by These Articles is Binding as per the Rules of Agora. ARTICLE 02: All Players who agree to abide by These Articles also Agree to abide by the Agreement entitled "[Subname]." ARTICLE 03: These Articles may only be changed by the Unanimous consent of all Players that currently Agree to Abide by them. ---------------------------- The "Not Anger Agora" Clause of Article 19: So that All Players Know that we are Not Lying about the Content of Our Articles if this Article Should Take Effect, This Article may be revealed to any Agency without triggering its action and without penalty. This clause takes precedence over all methods for changing these Articles, and all Articles that may punish Members for revealing these Articles. -Goethe
