I took my ccl, certificate is weird, technically good for life until I
submit it, then the expiration of the license starts countdown. I never
submitted because all your vehicle registrations pop up ccl driver. too
many idiots drive my vehicles. besides I still have too hot a temper to
carry, so many people would talk so much less if they were just trying to
breath through their sternum.  plus in illinois it's hard to shoot a home
invader, three things have to align to give somebody breathing room in
their chest cavity, you're better off just snaring them and keeping a pet
in the basement.
