illinois foid has been ruled unconstitutional, but never to the point of
trashing it. it used to be good for 10 years and acted as a lawful photo
ID, now it's not and the renewals are weird. you used to be able to get one
clean at the age of 14, but now it's 21, younger you have to be sponsored
and the sponsor gets charged for any crime you commit.
ccl is a statewide license, 1 to 2 day course depending on your background.
without ccl, all magazines last i knew had to be transported empty of
ammunition. Chicago's handgun ban went up in flames when the ccl laws went
in effect.
there is an unconstitutional "assault weapon" ban on the books that also
bans "high capacity" magazines. the ban is currently ruled unconstitutional
but is still in effect pending the states appeal.

we don't have time to poke our cousins in illinois, because we are too busy
trying to figure out what rights we have, that and most of our cousins are
meth heads here.

pretty sure if everybody took a 23andme across the country, we would all
find closer cousins than we thought. lots of spring kneed wives and
wandering husband's in this place. you get into the urban areas where the
generational public housing is at its 5th, 6th, 7th generation of
fatherless households, the numbers probably make rural kentuckians cringe
at the volume of familial breeding going on.
redneck Feskus blushes at the thought.

China, with all its prior breeding restrictions probably had less of an
inbreeding problem since there weren't as many cousins floating around.
