Exactly. We want their recurring revenue. And we don’t want recurring payments. Seems perfectly logical to me.

Why would you deny someone else the same model? I think most people don't realize that you are always going to pay one way or another. Just because it is big chunks every once in a while vs small chucks over time doesn't make a difference.
