What do you mean by unstable ? If you want to say that wormux is 
unstable and harder to kill when in fullscreen, this is not fullscreen 
unstability, this is just wormux bug and we can still have the issue 
with OpenGL.

The problem in Mac OS X is very different if I remember correctly (very 
bad performance). On Linux, the problem with Compiz is when you change 
the resolution of the window and in the same time go fullscreen. Compiz 
reports to SDL that the window is not fullscreen.

You really must try v0.8 that is far more stable than 0.8beta4 from a 
network point of view :)
