I have released v0.1.0b8 on Github <https://github.com/gjr80/weewx-gw1000/releases> which:
- fixes an incorrect mapping of GW1000 field relbarometer that will have resulted in incorrect barometer and altimeter fields in WeeWX - changes default field mappings of GW1000 fields rainhour, rainday, rainweek, rainmonth, rainyear, raintotals and rainevent to hourRain, dayRain, weekRain, monthRain, yearRain, totalRain and stormRain respectively - changes default field mapping of GW1000 field uv from uvRadiaition to uvradiation - fixes a bug that resulted in battery state mappings not being included in the default field map displayed with the --default-map command line option - adds extractors for all fields from default field map (incl battery state map) that need an extractor function other than avg As b8 includes extractor functions for a number of fields b8 requires changes to weewx.conf. For this reason the best way to upgrade to or install b8 is by downloading the extension package and installing using wee_extension. I will update the manual install instructions on the GW1000 driver wiki shortly. Upgrading by installing the extension package should retain any customised settings you may have made to weewx.conf, in any case a timestamped backup copy of weewx.conf is made by wee_extension and it might pay to check that any customisations in the [GW1000] stanza have been retained. For those that may have incorrect barometer/altimeter data as a result of the incorrect relbarometer mapping, users of WeeWX 4.0.0 or later should be able to recalculate the incorrect data by first deleting the incorrect barometer and altimeter data from the archive and then running wee_database using the --calc-missing action. You will then need to rebuild your daily summaries using --rebuild-daily. i will publish some detailed instructions later tonite.
