Here is the script I use.

all on one line

/usr/local/bin/Xvnc :1 -geometry 800x600 -depth 16 -once -query
localhost -httpd /usr/local/vnc/classes -httpport 5801 -dontdisconnect -fp
tcp/localhost:7100 -auth /.Xauthority

Note Solaris serves the Fonts from a TCP port at 7100.

I have had no problems with this script, all applications work well even the
oracle java installer.

Here is the command I use (everything on one line):

Xvnc :10 -geometry 1280x1024 -depth 24 -query localhost -desktop
"$LOGNAME" -audit 0 -rfbauth
"$HOME/.vnc/passwd" -rfbwait 120000 -fp
/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/misc,/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/75dpi,/usr/openwi
n/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi/,/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/,/usr/openwin/lib/X
11/fonts/Speedo/,/usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/F3bitmaps/
