        Thank heavens. :) I know it's tasteless to point to an
unfinished product, but I've been adding these capabilities as
a plugin to my homegrown app for the last year:

        ftp://ftp.echogent.com/EchoFree

        The production name of the app will be 'Kaboodle' as it 
is a collection of (so many durn useful) pieces. It's not built 
*on* VNC, but rather it includes VNC for what it is: a great tool.
        In fact, I demo'd Kaboodle to a potential customer, and 
the file-transfer piece was the *first* thing they asked about. They
already use VNC, and were very interested in Kaboodle becoming
a wrapper for point-and-click VNC'ing and scp'ing.

        Unfortunately...I've had a recent setback in headcount, 
and development has stalled. Please consider that a tactless 
solicitation for developers. :) Open-source, free-forever, 
compensation terms negotiable, of course.
