Fabian, The latest TridiaVNC source code for Win32 on our CVS server has both Tight and RealVNC's ZRLE. In addition, the RealVNC automatic encoding selection based on measured line speed is included. We decided to select the Tight encoding under 64 kbs with ZLRE, hextile and eventually even raw at progressively higher speeds. In addition, the excellent idea from the RealVNC folks to lower the pixel depth (to 8 bits per pixel) on slower connections is also supported. We do not yet have binaries available for release, but that will happen eventually.
Info on accessing the CVS server is here: http://www.developvnc.org/logged-in/access-cvs.html Have fun.
