I sell Garmin devices at my retail store which are primarily produced in Taiwan and therefore are subject to President Idiot's 32% tariff on good from Taiwan. Yet Garmin at this stage has informed all retailers that while they are cancelling any upcoming promos which are periods when certain devices are discounted and retailers get a rebate once we submit the receipts showing how many were sold during the promo period, but otherwise Garmin has said pricing will for now remain the same. Pelican cases also has informed their retail partners that they are at this point absorbing any tariffs and prices won't change. Of course companies can maybe only do this for a certain period of time, but while tariffs do apply to some things, others remain the same. This is the battery that came with the phone and it is my first smart phone. My land line is my main phone and I had hoped to have another year or two before a new iPhone. I'm not in a metropolitan area and the nearest Apple store isn't convenient and is about an hour away. The phone seems to be able to list nearby service locations for the battery problem, but I'm not getting it to work. Can a local Verizon company store replace the battery? Before I knew a new battery will be in order, with all the talk about a possible price increase, I had thought maybe I could trade in the SE 2 and get something off the purchase price. Does anyone know if this still might be possible? I'm late at the party, is it still possible to get or at least order a 16 E before the possible price increase tomorrow?
