It's not the failure to fix it I'm upset about. There's not anything the Ubuntu folk can really do other than report upstream. I know that. And I read that there already has been upstream discussion. It's the self deception, pretending that it's fixed that bothers me. Makes the fix rate look good though, doesn't it. I suspect that's what really matters.
If there is another bug report somewhere that says the problem has been reported upstream and awaits a fix then I owe an apology. But I haven't seen a link to any such report - I think the problem has been just made to go away. So there's nowhere I can keep watch on to see if there's ever any progress towards a fix. Because of course, it already IS fixed, isn't it? -- regression: uvcvideo module makes "cannot reset port" error on usb with bison webcam (5986:0203): USB and suspend fails https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/435352 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
