ohh really?? NEWS FLASH you do get "Professional" "Real Time" support if you
want.. even for individual desktop owner.. given that you pay for your the
professional grade support.

Having Desktop Environments give "user" FREEDOM TO CHOOSE!! Not that I have
to use same old dull blue/silver/green/black environment of windows all the
time with same application set...

And if you are really good developer you would not have asked about
supporting multiple DE... because that's not real problem you just need to
hook it with de base.. that's it... and there are not only KDE & Gnome there
are over 10DE that I'm aware of.. such as lxde openbox, fluxbox enlightment
etc....

In case you are dreaming....WAKE UP!! People are actually *"bound to use
Windows"*....

go to any computer shop and try to buy any computer either laptop or desktop
with your choice of os... some of the laptop do come with linspus or similar
low end linux but most cases you have to buy windows based desktop/laptops
and you can't ommit their os bundle you have to pay irrespective of whether
you want to use it or not.......

Don't say its vendors fault that they would not sell their pc without
windows.....
Microsoft actually BLACKMAILS these vendors to ommit linux offerings and put
windows in their computers... Microsoft threatens to stop supplying to that
specific vendor or increase their product price... in both cases Microsoft
is within their Legal Rights but they are actually doing unethical business
practice.. To Avoid antitrust lawsuit these vendors offers other low end OS
in out of stock/lagging computer which people are not going to buy.... so
you get the picture...

That's what Ubuntu Bug #1 is..... https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1

I haven't logged into my windows for a long time now and I am a Linux fan.

Whether most windows users are moron or idiots is personal opinion.... we
all should refrain from making such statements..... most linux groups are
branded as anti-microsoft cult but we don't want that in Bangladesh for
various reasons......

Personally what we think about Microsoft windows or their customer is our
personal views not to be talked about on public mailing list.......
