People are actually *"bound to use Windows"*.... go to any computer shop and try to buy any computer either laptop or desktop with your choice of os... some of the laptop do come with linspus or similar low end linux but most cases you have to buy windows based desktop/laptops and you can't ommit their os bundle you have to pay irrespective of whether you want to use it or not....... Don't say its vendors fault that they would not sell their pc without windows..... Microsoft actually BLACKMAILS these vendors to ommit linux offerings and put windows in their computers... Microsoft threatens to stop supplying to that specific vendor or increase their product price... in both cases Microsoft is within their Legal Rights but they are actually doing unethical business practice.. To Avoid antitrust lawsuit these vendors offers other low end OS in out of stock/lagging computer which people are not going to buy.... so you get the picture...
