The article I read (I forget if it was Variety or Hollywood Reporter) made it clear that the main reason for the cancellation was Tomlinson's desire to be out on the road doing standup; the taping schedule has severely constricted her ability to take road dates.
As for replacements, the network has made it clear they're not producing a replacement program. I'm sure somewhere Byron Allen is salivating at the possibilities.
