We've had excellent experiences with Memorydealers:

Specifically, we've done 1gig & 10 gig modules of different types (LR vs
SR, etc). There are some (minor) drawbacks: on Juniper switches you won't
get as detailed a set of instrumentation. If you have a large enough number
of SFPs  in use then it is worth keeping a pair of the "official vendor"
ones to use in case of problems and when you need the additional info.
