Even with the letter from your network provider informing of the change on
their network also they cannot? This is real problem man!

What model is your nokia phone?

Dear all,

Finally, I got a message from TalkNav that Nuance cannot help me retrieving
my license back. I think it's a real headache, if I have to pay for the
transfering from old license to the new.

I consider to say goodbye to Nuance and TalkNav, and I hope your guy kindly
be aware of your local network operator. If one day they said they would
like to do this or that on your number, it may affect your license and no
one could help.

Only God know I didn't lie or try to deceive them, but to pay for
transferring one license to the new at that price is too much for me. I may
have to change the way I use mobile phone, maybe try to work with iPhone
more than Talks, so sad and disappointing.

good luck for all,

Eakachai

Lol, do this simply. Go to the shop, report your sim card having problem,
faulty. report to them and ask them to change your sim. at the same time,
ask for a letter from your provider to prove to Nuance that there is a
reason for changing it, cause your card was faulty. This should go through
as faulty cards and getting a new one is not transferring license. Just in
case, keep the old sim as a proof to show/send to Nuance if need too.

In saying above, I am not even sure if Nuance still exist or bother to
entertain us anymore.

So, I think so only disadvantage u get by using your old sim card is you
have no 3g access.

Doesn't matter! If you get a new Sim! You need to buy a transfer license
from the old Sim to the new Sim. Restoring the OLD license will not work on
the new Sim. The Sim ID number will be different.

Like Brad has stated! If you cell provider is wanting you to get a new sim
and your old one is still working! I would ignore what the cell provider is
wanting you to do being it isn't neccessary. 3G is built on top of GSM so
your old phones will still work.

Hardware eventually fails, software eventually works.
No amount of bandwidth can fix poor design.
