Right, I think I know the behavior you're talking about. It's the same thing I see when I go to the normal Facebook site and try to update my status from there. I'm running the previous version of Talks on an E71x that hasn't had a firmware update in years, and when I go to m.facebook.com, I don't have the problem you're describing when I enter text into the latest news text area. I wonder if anyone else is seeing the behavior you're describing when they go to the m.facebook.com site.
