Are you sure you're using the mobile Facebook page? I get the behavior you're describing on the regular Facebook page, but not on the mobile Facebook page. I'm guessing you would know the difference, but I don't know what else to suggest.
Also, when I work on reported bugs, I don't place a lot of stock in statements like "It worked when my friend did it.", "I'm running the latest version." or "I haven't changed anything recently." I'm not questioning anyone's honesty, but I need URL's, version numbers, exact steps to reproduce, error logs, and so on.
