Otherwise it's possible to conclude that somebody mapped the building outline but didn't know it was a pub. This makes it clear that whoever mapped it knew that it used to be a pub. Actually, given my crappy eyesight and monitor, I'd make the X bigger than the glass. Or make it a red diagonal line.
