"razed" is the value used in the OpenRailwayMap tagging scheme to indicate that there is no visible trace of the track left (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/OpenRailwayMap/Tagging#Tracks)

"demolished" is one of the lifecycle prefixes (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:demolished:) or a key (https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/demolished).

There is also "removed" which is another of the lifecycle prefixes (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:removed:).

I'm not sure what was the intended difference between "demolished" and "removed" as these are very close to each other in meaning.

However, there is no lifecycle prefix for the case where something just decayed away to nothing. I am assuming that this is because once something has been removed/demolished or decayed away to invisibility it doesn't belong in OSM, but rather OHM.
