As you may see from the screenshot the same could be achieved in the folder pane also. It seems we're going too off-topic with the coloring here, so you may wish to start a new thread on it, or just search the web to find past discussions on it.

I'm not sure there is anything to discuss further. You continue to discuss the thread pane while I am talking about the folder pane. You discuss unread posts while I am talking about *new* posts.
