But, raw bandwidth increase often (always?) comes with latency
decrease. It shouldnt be neglected.

To that, I'd say this:
"640kbyte RAM is enough for all purposes", right?
finger + bandwidth = twitter
iridium + bandwidth = starlink
ATMachine + bandwidth = paypal
It appears hard to reduce in importance.
And I do appreciate and use many low bandwidth high-latency links regularly.
And I do agree that, especially in countries with many
sparsely-populated areas, the starlink access appears to be a great
tool, which should be considered importantly.
