Here is a quote from an information sheet I made for owners quoting from the 2014 edition of 25. I've not been playing since around 2019 so I have not updated it since that 2014 edition. I don't know what edition you're using or if the wording has changed since 2014, I would think that if you include your jurisdictio9n's most current version of this and a list of units you were not allowed access to as an addendum to your reports you should be OK. But I'm no lawyer nor play one on TV so check with a real one regarding your window of liability.
This is from NFPA 25, 2014 Edition: "*Chapter 4 General Requirements, **4.1 Responsibility of the Property Owner or Designated Representative, **4.1.1 Responsibility for Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, and Impairment. *The property owner or designated representative shall be responsible for properly maintaining a water- based fire protection system." *4.1.3* *Accessibility*. The property owner or designated representative shall provide ready accessibility to components of water-based fire protection systems that require inspection, testing, and maintenance. *A.4.1.3 *The components are not required to be open or exposed. Doors, removable panels, or valve pits can be permitted to satisfy the need for accessibility. Such equipment should not be obstructed by features such as walls, ducts, columns, direct burial, or stock storage. On Wed, Aug 14, 2024 at 7:53 AM <[email protected]> wrote: > I do not think so.
