Steven Scandaliato put it best during an AFSA conference in Dallas circa 2006, look at the definition of fast response sprinklers. Three sprinklers fall within that family; 1) ESFR, 2) quick response, and 3) residential.

As such, considered the same.

Steven is one of the best in my book!
