Semantics? Maybe, but if the word "filter" causes this kind of confusion, maybe it shouldn't be used to describe SA.
Mail... Analyzer? Reviewer? Labeler? Scanner? Spam... Detector? Seeker? Finder? Explorer? Konqueror? ;-)
