I've been thinking about this quite a bit lately. I think using the term "filter" to describe SA may be the of confusion for some people. A "filter" should remove or reject some things while letting allowed others to pass through. What SA really is is a tool/application for scanning and tagging messages but NOT filtering, that's left to procmail, etc. Semantics? Maybe, but if the word "filter" causes this kind of confusion, maybe it shouldn't be used to describe SA. -Joe K. ------------------------------------------------------- The SF.Net email is sponsored by EclipseCon 2004 Premiere Conference on Open Tools Development and Integration See the breadth of Eclipse activity.
