A custom rule, or a builtin rule? I've been running 2.60 on my own 7.3
server for around two months; and I just upgraded the production server
at work yesterday. Aside from changes to the configuration file
syntax/options between 2.3x->2.4x->2.5x->2.60, I've yet to have any
problems. I *have* carefully built my own RPMs for SA, but I've never
seen any of the build tests fail unless I was missing a Perl module, or
accidentally specified something incorrectly in the RPM build process.

I looked back through one of the archives (the other seemed to be a
little broken), but didn't see any messages from you around Nov 14.

How did you install 2.55? For installing on RedHat, I'd suggest either
Theo Van Dinter's RPMs (linked from the SpamAssassin website IIRC) or
mine (ftp://ftp.deepnet.cx/pub/devel/SpamAssassin). Both should install
cleanly on RH7.3- at the very least, attempting to install one set or
the other should give you some idea of which Perl components might be
missing.

ping, it works completely, I just can't figure out where in my
apartment it is.
