[That should be enough for context - snipped the rest for bandwidth]

I came from OS/2 to Redhat linux... Who can say "Deja Vu" ??? <sigh>
Another company with a decent product and a completely incompetent
marketing department.

Luckily, Linux is open source, and there's lots of ways to skin a cat.
I discovered apt-get dist-upgrade some time ago. The only thing that
hasn't come thru there (BEFORE it came thru up2date) was the kernal.
Guess I'll spend some time at kernal.org. Problem solved.

I purchased 6 subscriptions to Redhat network, mainly because I wanted
to support Redhat. Well, I can save that money and put it toward
Suse... Adios Redhat, don't let the door hit you in the ass on your
way out.

I predict they'll be in chapter 11 before the end of 2004... and
linux will be pretty much right where it is now, or maybe a little
more prevalent.

And, to bring this post back toward the stated subject, I was never
able to successfully install SA from the RPMs - Redhat messed up the
dependencies when they built the RPM, and when I reported the problem
to RH tech support, I got the equivilant of "Huh?" (They used about
100 words, same end result). I installed from CPAN - worked fine.
