perl -MCPAN -e shell
(If you have not set it up before, It will have a configuration that you need to go through. Read through it and adjust it accordingly.)
Once that is done and you are at the cpan prompt:
install Mail::SpamAssassin
Spell it correctly, it is caps sensitive.

Well, about RPMs: I got 2.55 installed via APT on RedHat 9! Just seeking the right up-to-date repository was the main task!
But, as I'm still interested in CPAN: can somebody tell me what/how to do if I'd like to upgrade via CPAN? Would this mean I could remove the RPM package?
