Hi,
There's been several comments on these, but I wanted to give some concrete examples from real spam in my mailbox. Yes, all three of these are very common spam messages.
# describe PREST_NON_ACCREDITED 'Prestigious Non-Accredited Universities'
basically these guys offer you a "diploma" from someplace that sounds like a major university but isn't. Their MIT degree is likely to be from "Massachetts Institute of Technicalities".
"Diplomas from prestigious non-accredited universities based on your present knowledge and life experience."
# describe BUY_JUDGEMENTS Buying judgements
Another unknown phrase to me. I take it that "judgement" means a court order at the end of a law suit. How can you buy this? Or does it refer to some transferrable financial claim as a result of a law suit?
I don't have one of the "we buy judicial judgement" spams on-hand, I do however have a spam offering to train you to be a judgement collection spammer: They're all basically offering to buy the rights to collect a court judgment you have won. Theoreticaly they offer to pay you half what you are owed and then go collect the money themselves. Odds are they'll find some way to get you to sign over the rights and not pay you a dime.
"The non-payment of judicial debt has grown to epidemic proportions. Right now in the United States there is between
200 and 300 billion dollars of uncollected Money Judgment debt. For every Judgment that is paid, 5 more Judgments take its place.
We identified this massive market 8 years ago and have actively pursued Judicial Judgments since. ..."
# describe GENERIC_VIAGRA Mentions Generic Viagra
Is "generic Viagra" a kind of clone of the "original" product Viagra but without the right to use the brand name? I haven't encountered the term "generic" in association with drugs, yet.
Well, theoretically it's more than a clone. Theoreticaly it's the exact same active ingredients, manufactured by another company that is also regulated by the USDA and made to the same USP standards. This however only happens once a patent on a drug expires and a whole pile of companies can suddenly make it without paying fees.
However, being spammers, I doubt their Viagra-clone is USDA regulated.
"Now you can get generic Viagra for as low as $2.50 per 50 mg dose, with a FREE physician's consultation and discreet shipment to the privacy of your home or office. "
"The same way generic ibuprofen will treat your headache just like Advil, Generic Sildenafil Citrate (GSC-100) will treat your erectile dysfunction just like Viagra."
