There must be two things with the same name and very different natures,
then. The puttu I know of is easy to make. Rice flour, grated coconut,
salt, steam (in a cylindrical metal container that sits nicely on the
pressure cooker's nozzle), done. Perfect for a hurried breakfast.

I know the Malayalam name of said metal container, but I can't write it
in English without making it sound like a small child (kutti).
