still prefer Mac.
I'm slowly but surely moving my digital life away from my Mac. Last week I ditched NetNewsWire for Google Reader despite NNW's superior UI. My mail now half lives in IMAP instead of entirely in Apple Mail. When I'm a little more comfortable with server reliability, I'll move several mailboxes. The only other Mac apps I use with any regularity these days are the browser, text editor, instant messenger clients, iTunes, iCal and the Address Book.
Much as I prefer Apple's superior UI, and continue to use a Mac for that reason, I don't trust Apple with my data and fully expect being forced off the ship in the not too distant future. Of the apps listed, iTunes is the only one that worries me, for the switch to any other won't be seamless.
