As far as sound transmission, you may want to take a look at the work done
by NCD (a Xterm manufacturer). At least one of the documents there also
mentions work done by other vendors.

I've come accross several issues with Xvnc with CDE.
One is that after issuing the exit action on the CDE toolbar no windows
close. If I press exit again I receive a window with the following:
TT_ERR_NO_MATH There is no running program to handle this message, nor is
there a static ptype to star
Thanks Steve,
Killing the server is not really appropriate in all scenarios especially
in xdm environments. After a logout Xvnc should restart (reinitialize)
and send out a XDMCP request/query again. The problem I'm having is an X
hang where none of the apps seem to be exiting (they may exit, b
I don't mean to flame you, but why would one want to do such a thing?
If you'd like a Windows FTP server there are plenty available and you
could start one from VNC. If I'm not mistaken Windows98 comes with
one and I'm almost certain NT and 2000 do (at least in the server
flavors).

I agree, and packaging VNC with other clients and servers will solve that
need adequately.

Correction, no one asked for it yet, but then I'm sure at the begginning
of the VNC project no one asked for FTP.
