OK, here is the much-desired method that I developed for a silent network
install of VNC:
Install VNC on a test machine, and set it up with the right refesh
properties and password that you want. You also need to set up any
AuthHosts properties or the disabling of the 'Close VNC' and 'Properties

1. If you are run VNC Server on the same host as SSHD (which it appears you
are), you have to enable "Loopback" connections with VNC. Because of the
SSH tunnel, the VNC server sees that the connection is coming from the SSHD
server. If they're the same host, it is a loopback conn

2. got validated by SSH.
3. on a separate terminal, I did "vncviewer localhost:10"

Ok, I know this is not a WindowsNT forum, but since this is a topic of the
moment, I am having an issue with SC.EXE. It works fine until I try to set
a type= interact, then it fails with a number 87. I am logged into the
computer as a local administrator. Any ideas?

kde are crashing when runing on the vncserver. I think it might be
somthing related to the color depth beacuse I have that set to 4. On
