Assuming you are using inetd, edit the inetd.conf file and change the "-broadcast" statement to "-query localhost". Currently it is hitting the wire and looking for XDMCP broadcasts but you don't appear to want that (just like I don't). The new option tells Xvnc to connect to the the local XDMCP
