Hi there folks,
I've just subscribed to the list, and thought it'd be a good idea to say hello!
My name is Chris, I hail from East Yorkshire, and I've been using
Ubuntu for a while now. I use Ubuntu at home, on the computer of
anyone who I can convince to switch from Window
ion seems to be true. Where mailing lists
are the mainstay of open source and linux communication I think forums
would give the group a higher profile and encourage a far greater
interaction with the community.
Does anyone else agree or am I alone? Is there any harm in requesting
a UK LoCo forum?
Ch
ist.
I guess that by making it a little more difficult to get involved in
the conversation, a lot of the 'background noise' is cut out keeping
the discussion focused and intelligent and you're more likely to make
sure what you've typed is reasonably well thought out before you
ould email me details and screenshots
of some of the projects that I haven't got round to yet, and I'll put
them up..At the moment it's all a bit threadbare, but I'll pad it out
when time
permits. Hope you can help.
Let me take a look, I'm sure I can help flesh it ou
fer to use a forum, but will use a mailing list in
conjunction with it. I think this matter is important enough to have
proper vote on.

The new 'N' apart from having the new as yet unreleased standard (or
non-ratified), also has an internal antennae. (In fact it has 2 or 3
internal antennas). With these, I don't use the external (and can't
because there is no connection).

Most of the devices will only protect you from lightning strikes from
1-2 miles away.
None of the ones you probably get off the shelf are "lightning
arrestors", they are merely surge protectors.

Just checking out The Register and I found an article about MS's new
product. Microsoft Surface. Credit where credit's due - I think it
looks pretty uber! If they've patented the concept behind this, it'd
be hard to compete in a lot of applications in the future
What do you think?

logged out?
Thanks in advance ;-)

WINE. This is a Windows 'compatibility layer' which lets some
Windows programs run on Linux
2) Get VMWare - You can then run a copy of Windows inside your Linux
operating system. That way you can get access to your blood sugar
problem.
Cheers
