Hey Nik, I don't dispute savings in the SME arena mate. But I'm more interested in the processes by which large, corporate and public sector organisations can save money. I work in public sector IT, and I feel somewhat like I'm banging my head against a brick wall trying to introduce OSS into my workplace. I've had some small triumphs, but the noose of MS hangs tight around the necks of most corporate IT directors unfortunately.... I've had some difficulty finding studies examining what happens when a large scale organisation migrates to OSS and or Linux. If you have anything like that knocking about, that'd be great. I decided a while ago that the only way the powers that be will consider large scale OSS implementation, is if they have the evidence of another same size public sector organisation (or preferably a few!) doing it first! It's a bit of a catch 22 situation... Chris -- ubuntu-uk@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-uk https://wiki.kubuntu.org/UKTeam/
