Hi all,
I am compiling a list of any LaTeX commands we are using throughout the
manual. There are a number of commands we are using (some specific to our
manual) that aren't clearly documented anywhere and our 'Technical Help'
wiki page hasn't been updated for a while with some of the newer ones (
opengpg has a command for exporting secret keys..
You can always create a new ssh key and register it with launchpad, or
you can copy the ~/.ssh folder to your new machine if you want to
transfer ssh keys.
Seahorse might have some facility for both of these too.

Yes. So far, it's working very much like that! Result!
Now I need only worry about how to transfer my OpenGPG and SSH keys
with me when I reformat the computer and upgrade to Lucid next month.
But that's an adventure for another day.

Sweet. Once you get used to it you'll find it's really cool, just open it
up, pull the latest changes, then work on some stuff, pull again to make
sure no one has pushed while you've been working, then you just commit and
push and then bam!

Duly noted. I'm just happy to have a concrete workflow!

That's great! Actually, smaller and more often pushes are better. Lots of
people working on stuff all the time, reduces the chance of ugly merges and

I'm new to the team (just finished configuring my machine this

I agree with ilya. All going to plan we'll only have one edition each

What about following Ubuntu? Calling the upcoming release Ubuntu Manual

I ran new install-pkgs.sh and it installed some packages, but "Make

But as it was before - compiled .pdf seems fine with no errors.
And again .log files are attached.

Hi!
I proposed to use "Second Edition" and so on to mark follow-up releases
of our document as long as it is targeted at the same Ubuntu version
(Lucid).
Today Kevin made a good point about "Edition" implying additions or
changes to the content beyond simple corrections.
He suggested to use a co
