Without it, most commongly used media won't play.
I wonder why the installer tries to install libxine1-ffmpeg in the first

Since this issue seems highly driver related, and more people seem to
experience it, I've confirmed the wpasupplicant bugtask and opened a new
bugtask for the kernel, in the hope they can provide further input on
this.
