AFAIUI, courier's userdb is created from a textfile
/etc/courier/userdb. So the user would have to rerun `makeuserdb` to
recreate the databases.

A graceful, unattended update does not seem possible. Perhaps this
should be taken up to upstream to see what they recommend here.
