Keep in mind that these boxes do have the VirtualBox guest extensions
installed. The guest extensions are needed for being used with Vagrant.
If you have to revert to the precise HWE stack to make the guest
extensions work, that's fine with me.

2014-03-15) after doing a software update. I have no 3rd party repos or
packages installed.
I am using VMware Workstation 10.0.1 with VMware's printer sharing
enabled. I have printers shared, but none of them are HP printers.

This crash occurs as soon as I login to the Unity desktop.
I am running trusty under VMware Workstation 10.0.1 on a Windows 8.1
64-bit host. I have VMware Workstation's "Printer" feaure "connected",
so VMware is sharing my host OS's printers with the trusty VM.

I forgot to mention that I did install VMware Tools from this version of
VMware Workstation. I can try uninstalling them.
Also, "hpfax" crashes during each login too. Launchpad suggested I mark
it as a duplicate of bug 1007226, and I did. However, it may not be a
duplicate after all because 100722
I am going to try reformatting this VM with the latest nightly desktop
CD for the sake of testing. Still, here's the output with and without
VMware Tools as root:
With VMware tools installed:

root@executor-u-t:~# /usr/lib/cups/backend/usb
I reran the commands from the 2014-03-26 32-bit desktop CD (where the
VMware Tools were never installed) and after installing from that CD and
installing all available updates (without ever installing VMware Tools.)
There appears to be no difference.

I am still experiencing this bug on Oneiric AMD64 with the latest

Also:
1. "Install the system" failed immediately after I selected to do a
normal install. Every additional time I ran it, it did the same.
2. I just re-ran the installer and it was completely successful.
The differences this time were that I selected "Command-line expert install"
and that I did
I believe I just experienced this same bug with up to date packages.
It happened when I went to open "User Accounts".
I've marked this as new.

I installed the latest upstream linux-image package and its two headers
package. The linux image package is as follows:
linux-image-2.6.36-020636-generic_2.6.36-020636.201010210905_amd64.deb
I then ran the same test as before with this upstream kernel, and the

I just reran the wireshark test on my maverick 10.10 (latest updates) 64-bit
system with a Broadcom Corporation NetXtreme BCM5722 Gigabit Ethernet PCI
Express.
I got the following results, which are similar to before:
TCP checksums are about 90% incorrect with tx checksum on

OK.

1. Entered your command and started evolution.
2. Canceled out of the default request for google IMAP password.
3. Hit Send/Receive
