Setup:
VirtualBox 4.2.12 on a Windows 7 64-bit SP1 host
64-bit suacy "mini.iso" built on 2013-05-29
The error message:
"Installation step failed" under "Install the system".
See attached logs for further info.
What I did before it occurred:
I purposely selected to do an expert install in order to learn how more about
the installer.
I setup LVM (see in log.)
I chose to download a bunch of extra installer components, including the live
installer and the SSH component.
I had virtualbox switch me over from a private network to a bridge to my
physical LAN after the installer setup the SSH component. I then reran
"Configure the network" to get a new DHCP address.
I chose to do a normal install under "install the system", not a live install.
Other notes:
The first time "Install the System" failed happened at 14:09 UTC. Any
subsequent log entries were me retrying steps such as partition the disks and
install the system (which failed every other time I ran it).
As seen in one of the screenshots, /dev/saucy-server-vg/ does exist.
