for what its worth, i've also seen the system hard freeze when trying to
connect to a wireless network. I've also only gotten 2 or 3 successful
boots (of course the first boot after upgrade worked!) in 15-20 tries

After using the 5-second sleep workaround to boot successfully, I'm
seeing random lockups when the kill switch is disabled (wireless
enabled). I'm plugged into ethernet, and network-manager is grabbing

very possibly just a coincidence of timing, but after upgrading to
Jaunty lat week, my laptop's battery life has severely diminished. Used
to get ~2 hours on battery, but now down to 10-20 minutes (usually
operate docked & plugged in, so unfortunately don't know if the batter

I built & installed new tracker .debs from the ubuntu branch using `bzr
bd`, but found that tracker-indexer hangs! with debug logs turned on,
trackerd.log shows many messages to the effect of "the indexer is not
responding to dbus request", and a gdb stacktrace showed the indexer

bottom left corner of each window which reloaded the current page while
displaying ads when clicked on. in hardy/epiphany 2.22, the "A" button

I've noticed that the latest beta of the flashplayer (implemented using
XEmbed) has a similar problem. It never receives any mouse clicks when
raise_on_click is false unless shift is held down (holding down shift
seems to work around this bug w/ ndiswrapper, as well).

slightly more clarification:
this was cd image installed onto a usb stick.
also, had an SD card w/ an image on it inserted, but machine won't boot from
it, so was booting from the usb stick.
even though it won't boot from it, the SD card shows up as /dev/sdb (and
/dev/sdb1). Even though it will
wow, ok; so if i put the *same* cd image on both the usb stick & the SD
card, then the installer (casper?) loaded from the usb stick recognizes
the SD card filesystem, and I am able to install successfully. once
booted into the installer/installed system, USB & network all seem to
work fine.
