Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: serpentine
I take an MP3 file that I don't own, but had read access to, and drag it
to serpentine.
Nothing happens.
I did this again, and serpentine froze.

I'm confused why this bug has just been marked as a duplicate of Bug #53387
because that bug only mentions wireless.
This bug makes Ubuntu unusable on a wired network.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnump3d
On first run of GNUMP3d, it says the logfile I've "chosen" to use isn't
writable by me.
I've not chosen any logfile.
The error message then suggests changing a line... but it doesn't say where I
find this line (ie, in which file? where?)

Look at the checkboxes for the connections in the Network Settings app.

Given there's no MP3 support, why does apt-get install libtwolame0?
Isn't that to do with mp3s?
I'd like to request that this package be moved to multiverse so mp3
support can be included. Otherwise, there isn't much point to it.

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gdm
The tooltip for the 'Show actions menu' option is completely
incomprehensible.
'If this is off then one of the actions will be available anywhere'
Which action?
Available where? Where is 'anywhere'?

I'm seeing this with the onboard graphics on a Foxconn K8M890M2MB --
though for me the effect doesn't show on a screenshot.

Public bug reported:
My system powered itself down after about 10 hours of operation.
The logs show that it went through the steps to shut down.
The only thing I found in the log that seemed unusual was: 'exiting on signal
15'.
A google search suggested this might be a bug in power management.
