Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
If I try to open a file that I don't have read access to, nautilus gives an inaccurate error message. Eg, try opening /etc/samba/smbpasswd Dialog box says: No application suitable for automatic installation is available for handling this kind of file. This isn't true. I simply don't have the rights to open it. The warning message should say that instead. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nautilus gives wrong message for locked file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/184323 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
