It appears that some people are saying that certain kernels, or kernel
compilation settings are having an impact on if this works or not. I'd
place this relatively squarely in the wi
Adding load to the CPU's before starting Wine seemed to work but more
often than not it still failed.

2.6.31-13 from karmic does not work repeatably - deleting caches (or /LUA:OFF)
will work sometimes, but not re-launch after changing settings in-game.
Reverting to 2.6.28-15 from Jaunty works (although that has some audio

the notifications don't seem to be happening as before.

Did you manually download the kernel from this location and install with
the headers etc?... I tried searching for a kernel PPA to add to the
software sources, and only found this one, (https://launchpad.net

Just a correction, after a reboot the notifications started again, so I
think all is well at the moment. Jatin, try closing the client, then
restart from the Applications -> Internet menu. For me, this prompted
me to re-authorise my machine and the problem has gone.

You could go to your account on the web, and remove the authorization
for that computer then restart the client... although TBH I find the U1
authentication mechanism much less than transparrent... it would help to
have some way to get clearer information regarding what's going on from
the applet..
Is there a reason I can't edit my first post to remove the glaring
errors in it, I tried to edit it and it fails.

I think this is actually a bug with Totem, since after the upgrade,
totem's configuration is screwed up, and totem changes the HUE... it's
not an nvidia issue. Can the bug be moved to an issue with totem.
