I'm experiencing troubles with my Wifi.
@ home: WEP 128, link quality changes from 1 bar to 4 bars without any reason
as the AP and the PC are in the same room with the same trafic.
@ University: WAP (2?), also has the problem of the link quality. After

I have a gnome desktop by default and I wanted to try KDE4, so I
installed kubuntu-desktop.
Kde4 was unusable, it tooks more than 4 minutes before seeing the
desktop and it was lagging a lot. I was no able to launch any program.
To understand what was happening, I first logged into tty1 and ran

As far as I am concerned, I have no problem with AR242x on Intrepid. I
use ath_pci and ath_hal. Driver was activated trough the restricted
driver manager.

I pulled the latest sources from git:
git-clone git://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati
Then I applied the patch:
patch --verbose -uN < alex_deucher.diff
The patch applied succesfully (had to enter manually the path to the files to
patch)
Then I edited my xorg.conf file

The bug is resolved upstream. Alex Deucher wrote a patch that resolved the
problem.

Hi,
I still experience this bug on Hardy. My usb mouse doesn't work after resuming
from hibernation. A fix around is to open a terminal and execute "lsusb" you
won't see anything but it does reactivate your mouse! Unplugging and plugging
again doesn't do anything.

Here are the steps to reproduce the bug while reading a DVD:
1. Start playing a movier using totem and totem-gstreamer
2. Click on Sound ->Languages -> Track XXX and select another than the
default one
3. Sound doesn't work anymore
