For sure, this bug is not related to network-manager. It is the missing
linux-restricted-modules that causes the problems: no drivers available

I did a check and it was a temporary problem. I asked for a rebuild

I had a problem with my computer crashing when switching to full screen
when running compiz. I fixed this by:
* running 'gstreamer-properties' in the terminal
* clicking the video tab
* changing 'Plugin' to 'X Window System (No Xv)'. If that doesn't work, try the
'X Window System (X11/XS
mv ~/.openoffice.org* ooold/ : No effect.
Disabling Assistive Technologies: Successful workaround. That's
interesting because I don't have any of the assistive technologies
enabled other than the master on/off checkbox, but that's clearly it.
Out of curiosity, can you link me to the bug?

has no effect, too.

i have tried both. None of them work.
It's really annoying and i don't have a clue of what to do.

Yep, exactly the same problem. I've just installed the G15 keyboard and
that's the problem. I've removed the drivers for the LCD from Ubuntu and
it's fine now. Again, will require some further investigation of what the
problem is.
