I can confirm this problem on XChat 2.8.4-0ubuntu7. If I start typing a
message before all of the channels are auto-joined. The focus changes as
the channels load and the message becomes splayed throughout the
channels. While waiting would be an option in this case, cleaning up the

occasionally completely freeze up. Moving the mouse does not cause the
cursor to move in X11, pressing keys doesn't produce any visible result

Sorry I forgot to add. This script solve the problem I had for a long time

for me it also works with 8.04, but i had to connect rear speaker as
center/lfe and center/lfe as rear, otherwise sound was played
incorrectly. it seems that default connectors (also marked with color)
in windows xp drivers match hardware and alsa has it somehow changed.

Hi, Okay I installed the version from the repository now. I did find a
crash report in /var/crash which I submitted using the auto facility.

It doesn't occur in Hardy or Intrepid on the same PC. What is very strange is
that with no external connections the uploads were still occurring. Do you
know of any good guides for wireshark ? Do I need to run both packages
