When I made fdisk list my partition table, I couldn't detect any overlapping
partition either. But when calculating the actual size of the partitions (by
multiplying with the block size) you could see a partition overlapped another.

Yes, I can confirm that this has to do with Xgl and not with fglrx. I
also have an Intel GMA 965, and Xrandr works just fine when I disable
Xgl.
Either this bug needs to be changed in its heading or a new one needs to

[fglrx] fglrx+xgl doesn't support xrandr

I am using Hardy Heron. I just came home today to a smoothly running
system. I saw the Update notification Icon and decided to update the
system. After updating, the system required a restart. I did the restart
and got this error message.
"Nautilus can't be used now, due to an unexpected error fro
It isn't broken so I am closing this report. Xv normally uses overlay output
which directly sends the image to video card memory so gnome screenshot
couldn't capture it (

There is some messages about the keyboard outputted to stderr when
running startx, which do not appear in the log file above, so I'm
attaching this as well. I hope it is of use.

I wonder if inputlirc will be able to gain exclusive access to your
device. If it does, then maybe lirc is broken.
