When suspending in Hardy and latest kernel 2.6.24-11-generic the
backlight turns off then on and stays on consuming a lot of power. So
suspend is pointless. This happens on a Thinkpad X31 with ATI Radeon M6
and this is a regression from Gutsy in which suspend turned correctly

It's very difficult to manage printers because system-config-printer
doesn't fit to 800x600 (in width)
This is (800x600) default resolution on several laptop
I'm afraid I was misunderstood. I have this problem since feisty, but
now I'm using Hard Heron Alpha (since Alpha 3) and the problem is still
here.

Just a little question here... Which basic flac package are you refering
to MrAuer? I presume its the lib8 guy? I installed the xmms-dev package
and compiled from source and added to .xmms/plugin but still no go so i
reread and realised i had missed the basic flac package bit... Thanks

we won't go for 0.7 in hardy. Its still not out of beta. However, we
upgraded to 0.6.6 today. if you want 0.7 feel free to keep using my ppa
(like what is mentioned in the blog entry)

This problem seems to be solved. I did not see this bug in the past weeks, when
the drive and volume tabs were missing from the drive properties tab. Today,
the new gnome-mount 0.8~svn20080225-0ubuntu1 brought back those missing tabs
and I can still use the drive properties menu without crash.
